Introduction

I am always one for upgrading Sitefinity to the latest release and reviewing and improving the whole environment. Development, Source control, Builds deployment and of course actual code.

Recently there was a great article on reasons to maintain your Sitefinity environment over at American Eagle.

I can really attest to the points it makes and have it on good authority that the writer has some great experience. :-)

I hope you enjoy the analogies it uses and helps you to validate getting the time to do all those tasks you want to do but may struggle to get approval for.
